Clear answers about ECU tuning, compatibility, orders, installation, international shipping and support.
What is an ECU tune?+
It is a custom adjustment of engine control parameters such as ignition, fuel, torque requests and limits. At Sky300 the calibration is chosen according to the Mazda platform, engine, hardware and fuel.
What is the difference between Stage 1, Stage 1+ and Stage 2?+
Stage 1 works with a mostly stock vehicle. Stage 1+ takes advantage of airflow upgrades. Stage 2 requires a more complete hardware package such as intake, exhaust and fuel upgrades, depending on the engine.
How much power can my Mazda gain?+
It depends on engine, condition, fuel and modifications. Naturally aspirated stages usually improve response and deliver progressive gains; turbo platforms can gain considerably more. We do not promise one number for every car.
Is ECU tuning safe for the engine?+
A conservative calibration on a healthy engine can maintain reliability. Maintenance, good fuel, correct spark plugs and reviewing logs are essential. Any modification increases the importance of preventive maintenance.
Will fuel consumption improve?+
At partial load it may stay similar or improve slightly when the engine works more efficiently. If you use the additional performance frequently, consumption will increase. Driving style remains decisive.
Do I have to travel to Barranquilla?+
In-person service is performed in Barranquilla. For compatible projects, Sky300 also offers a remote tuning kit with software and an OBD-II interface, sold separately.
How do I know if a part fits my Mazda?+
Confirm model, year, engine displacement, generation and whether it is naturally aspirated or turbo. Use the catalog by vehicle or contact us before ordering if any detail is unclear.
What does plug and play mean?+
It means it was designed to use the vehicle's original mounting points or connections. Installation can still require tools, technical knowledge and final checks.
How long does a Sky300 header take?+
Headers are made to order. Manufacturing takes approximately 20 days. International transit is approximately 8 additional days after dispatch, depending on customs and destination.
Are store prices in US dollars?+
No. The store base currency is Colombian pesos (COP). A price such as $1,000,000 means one million Colombian pesos, not US dollars. The currency code is displayed next to prices.
Do you ship throughout Colombia?+
Yes. In-stock products are dispatched to the main cities and municipalities in Colombia. Delivery time depends on destination and carrier.
Do you ship internationally?+
Yes. Sky300 ships products internationally. Header shipping is configured at COP 1,000,000 and transit is approximately 8 days after the 20-day manufacturing process. Other products are quoted according to destination and weight.
Can I install the products myself?+
Some products are simple to install, while headers, fuel systems or electronic components should be installed by an experienced technician. Ask us if you are unsure.
Can a modification affect the vehicle warranty?+
Warranty policies depend on the dealer, country and type of modification. No third party can guarantee that a dealer will maintain coverage. Consult your dealer before modifying a vehicle under warranty.
Do I receive support after purchase?+
Yes. Sky300 provides guidance about compatibility, installation considerations and the correct use of the product. Send your order information and vehicle details when requesting support.
